Hotel Transylvania', Sony's 3D animation movie has topped the September 2012 weekend's box office. This film earned around $43 million between Friday to Sunday, surpassing the original film debut held by 'Sweet Home Alabama' in 2002 which earned around $35 million. The other films released in September's weekend, 'Looper' made around $20.8 million standing on second position and 'End of Watch' after that which opened with $7.8 million.
