Conan taking his show to New York
Conan O’brien was the host of The Tonight Show with Conan O’brien till January 2010. The association with NBC went sour after the network decided to move Jay Leno back to the time slot. He ended his relationship with the network and went on a 'Legally Prohibited From Being On Television tour'.

On the first day of the tour, he announced that he is joining TBS and now Conan O’brien hosts Conan, a late night talk show on TBS which premiered on November 8, 2010.

To celebrate first anniversary of his arrival at TBS, Conan O’Brien has announced that from October 31 to November 3, he will be returning to New York and filming few episodes at the New York’s Beacon Theatre. It will be the first time later this year that Conan will be taking his chat show on the road. He will also tape some episodes in Chicago in 2012. For his NBC’s Late night show, he had tapes few episodes in 2007 at the Chicago Theatre.

Even after being dumped by NBC, Conan hasn’t stopped mocking his previous employers. The ratings of the talk show have dropped since its debut but the show still seems to do well amongst young viewers.
